What I notice

  • The pricing unit differs. Per business, per licence, per property, per organisation, per plan with metered AI credits. Because of that I do not rank these by price.
  • Ledgers and AI-first tools talk about AI differently. QuickBooks and Xero name AI as plan features. Digits, Puzzle, Docyt and Booke describe a workflow in which software does the work and a person reviews it. FreshBooks and Zoho Books name no AI feature on the pricing pages I read.
  • A claim is not a measured result. Botkeeper's 85% is a calculator input and Booke's 80% is a speed claim. Neither is a published accuracy rate.

My view

When you compare these products, ask what happens to a transaction the AI is unsure about. The pages say the least about that, and it is where the products differ most.

Dext, Tally, Vyapar. Their pricing pages did not load when I tried on 9 October 2026, so I have not listed them rather than guess. They will be added once I have checked them.
